Product Description
Chimpanzees are our closest living relatives, sharing more than 98 percent of our genetic makeup. Humans and chimpanzees are also said to have a common ancestor that lived four to eight million years ago. Although they normally walk on all fours (ankle walking), chimpanzees can stand and walk upright. By swinging from branch to branch, they can also move quite efficiently in the trees, where they consume most of their food. Chimpanzees usually also sleep in the trees by building nests out of leaves.
